BLACK FALCON GETS SILVER, BRONZE IN NAT’L WUSHU
2 wushu sanshou artists from the Black Falcon Martial Arts Association-Main (BFMAA-Main) took home a silver and a bronze for Negros Occidental during the Philippine National Wushu Sanshou Championships were held by the Wushu Federation of the Philippines (WFP) in cooperation with the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Manila on May 16-18, 2003.
Vivencio “Benny” Trayco took the silver in the juniors 48 kg. division, making him the first national juniors silver medalist in wushu sanshou from Bacolod City and Negros Occidental. His teammate Sherwin G. Nuñesco settled for bronze in the seniors 48 kg. division.
