8 times Philippine National Individual Judo openweight champion (including 1990 and 2005)
6 times Southeast Asian (SEA) Games judo gold medallist (including 1991)
6 times Southeast Asian judo champion in 4 different weight divisions
2 times Olympian (1988 Seoul and 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games)
2004 Philippine National Individual Judo half-middleweight champion
Bronze Medallist, 2003 World Masters Judo Championship
Veteran of 2 World Judo Championships in Canada and Japan
