BACSMA 3-0-2 IN REG’L WOMEN’S TKD

The Bacolod Consolidated Sports Management Association (BACSMA) under Coaches Joel R. Casiple and Albert Algarme took home a 3-0-2 medal haul in the Regional All Women’s Taekwondo Championships and Poomse Competition on November 19, 2005 at the sta. Barbara Governor’s Gym, Sta. Barbara, Panay.

BACSMA gold medalists were Richelle Fernandez of NOHS (secondary advance featherweight), Roni Jean Raymundo of ETCS-1 9elementary novice 120-128 cm.), and Myrel Tapang of Sum-ag National High School (secondary advance flyweight).

BACSMA Bronze medalists were Jennylyn Palama of Riverside college (senior advance finweight) and Cressida Quin Recto of Sum-ag National High School (secondary advance mid-junior).

The tournament was organized by the Sta. Barabara LGU and SK municipal federation in cooperation with the Sta. Barabara Taekwondo Association.

Officials were Panay Area Regional Instructor Simplicio “Sim” L. Griño Jr. (overall chairman), Region 6 Regional Director Antonio V. Lacson (co-chairman), Jun Tanalgo (tournament manager), Aubrey Mongao (assistant manager), Richard Cabagyo (referee chairman), and Tony Alcarde, Ben Lapadosa, Emmanuel Crudo, Ariel Dianes, Joel Fantillo, Pamela Gababasay, Michael Montinola, Jerry Nicavera, Josephine and Mariano Peñafel, Victor Seguiban, Ernie Sustutuido, and Roque Tacardon (referees).
