M.A. FORUM HELD AT RIVERSIDE COLLEGE

The Bacolod Aikido Enthusiasts (BAE) of Maxwell “Max” J. Maun Sensei, with the support of 7 other martial arts organizations from Bacolod and Talisay Cities, presented the Common Sense Martial Arts Self Defense Forum to about 400 PE and NSTP students free of charge on February 7, 2004 at the RMC Covered Court, Riverside Medical College, Bacolod City.
The event was made successful with the help of the Riverside Medical College Nursing and PT Departments.
The other participating organizations were Atleta Judo Club under VP Henried Lamayo Sensei, Bertar Karate Kan of Edilberto “Bert” A. Arcositas Sensei, Conceptual Martial Arts Society of Founders James U. Sy Jr. Sensei and Narciso “Hansy” L. Alojado Sensei, Fight Club Combat and Streetfighting Center of Edwin J. Tusil, Ki Fighting System of Ker Yosores Sensei, Kyokan Dojo of Noel and Stella J. Fuentes Sensei, and Mantas Daga of Mandatus Samuel Ibe.
FMA is for Filipino Martial Arts. FMA Circle is a group of persons and organizations sharing a common interest or revolving about a common center. That common center is the Art and Craft of Martial Arts as practiced, and developed by Filipino Warriors and Scholars of the Warrior Ways. In short, FMA Circle is dedicated to any Martial Arts as practiced by Filipinos.
