FILIPINO TANG SOO DO SHINES AT LA CONSOLACION COLLEGE
Bernil de los Santos, Theresa Jane “Princess” Libo-on, the twin sisters Joan Shennen C. Moran and Jenny Shennen C. Moran, and Marilou Pecha of the Philippine Integrated Martial Arts Academy-Filipino Tang Soo Do Association (PIMAA-FTSDA) gave various martial arts demonstrations during the Parent’s Day celebration last December 4, 2005 at La Consolacion College-Gardenville, Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City.
2004 Gov. Tupas Cup pencak silat medalist Bernil de los Santos demonstrated jurus tunggal which included empty hands work, the bolo, and the long stick. The junior members of the association performed the basic exercises of Filipino Tang soo do e(vrtical and horizontal splits, spider walk, headstand, etc.) and the
standard hyung (forms).
The teens are students of Master Elmer V. Montoyo, 6th dan black belt, Founder/President of PIMAA-FTSDA.
FMA is for Filipino Martial Arts. FMA Circle is a group of persons and organizations sharing a common interest or revolving about a common center. That common center is the Art and Craft of Martial Arts as practiced, and developed by Filipino Warriors and Scholars of the Warrior Ways. In short, FMA Circle is dedicated to any Martial Arts as practiced by Filipinos.
