MUAY ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES-NEGROS OCCIDENTAL FOUNDED
The Muay Thai Association of the Philippines-Negros Occidental Chapter (MAP-Neg. Occ.) was formally founded with an election officers on June 24, 2005 at the Check Inn Coffee Shop, Luzuriaga St., Bacolod City.
Those elected to office were James U. Sy Jr. Sensei of Conceptual Martial Arts Society (Negros Occidental Coordinator/President), Narciso “Hansy” L. Alojado Sensei of CMAS (Negros Occidental Vice Coordinator/Vice President), Hieroteo “Didoy” Villarosa of Philippine Integrated Martial Arts Academy-Filipino Tang Soo Do Association (secretary), Edwin J. Tusil of Fight Club (treasurer), Joery C. Amante of Black Falcon Martial Arts Association-Main (PIO), Elmer V. Montoyo Sabumnim of PIMAA-FTSDA (chairman of the board), and Reynante De La Cruz of United Negros Fighting Arts Academy, Francis Stephen A. Diaz of CMAS, James Emmanuel Infante of Fight Club, Jimmy T. Lee of PIMAA-FTSDA, Moises “Jung-Jung” Nifras Jr. of CMAS, and Franklin Tabino of PIMAA-FTSDA (board directors).
FMA is for Filipino Martial Arts. FMA Circle is a group of persons and organizations sharing a common interest or revolving about a common center. That common center is the Art and Craft of Martial Arts as practiced, and developed by Filipino Warriors and Scholars of the Warrior Ways. In short, FMA Circle is dedicated to any Martial Arts as practiced by Filipinos.
