Roy Vincent Dionela of the Bacolod Consolidated Sports Management Association (BACSMA) gave Negros Occidental its lone gold medal in the taekwondo competition of the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet (WVRAA) held on February 29, 2004 in San Jose, Antique. He ruled his weight class in the elementary boys division.
