The All Philippine Sipa-Sumbag Martial Arts Federation (APSMAF) was founded by 8 martial arts organizations from Bacolod and Victorias Cities during a meeting on March 27, 2005 at the Roli’s Restaurant, Luzuriaga St., Bacolod City.
Those elected to office were Grandmaster Eddie P. Gonzales of Philippine American Martial Arts Federation (president), Joery C. Amante Sensei of Black Falcon Martial Arts Association-Main (VP-Central Negros), Ronnie D. Secular Sensei of Brotherhood Martial Arts Federation (VP-Northern Negros), Narciso “Hansy” L. Alojado Sensei of Conceptual Martial Arts Society-Main (secretary/treasurer), Lando R. Canoy Sensei of Supreme Black Tiger Martial Arts (auditor), James U. Sy Jr. Sensei of Conceptual Martial Arts Society (PIO), Rustico Pabalinas Sensei of Brotherhood Martial Arts Federation (business manager), Ricardo B. Pilipinas Sensei of Filipinas Kickboxing (sgt. at arms), Ernesto Joseph Sensei of Black Falcon Martial Arts Association (general consultant), Eddie S. Deocades of Sports Philippines International Foundation Inc. (adviser), and Elmer V. Montoyo Sabumnim of Philippine Integrated Martial Arts Academy-Filipino Tang Soo Do Association (PIMAA-FTSDA) and Edwin J. Tusil Sensei of Fight Club Combat and Streetfighting Center (members).
The group’s first project was the 1st APSMAF Martial Arts Festival which they held in cooperation with Sports Philippines International Foundation Inc. on May 15, 2005 at the Bacolod Arts and Youth (BAY) Center, San Juan St., Bacolod City.
BMAF was crowned overall champion with 6 wins. BFMAA-Main, PAMAF, and FK tied at 2nd place with a win each.

FEATHERWEIGHT. Jury Oro of FK over Justin de la Cruz of BFMAA-Main via KO. Jolito Garcia of BMAF over Andres Villarmia of BFMAA-Main via KO.
LIGHTWEIGHT. Christian Gonzalez of PAMAF over Zanelle Mosquera of Jungle Fighters Martial Arts Club via default. Danilo de Asis of BMAF over Jerry Nodnod of JUFIMAC via unanimous decision. Randy de Asis of BMAF over Milcu Clamor of PAMAF via retirement at 1:31. Noe Buenaventura of BMAF over Irwin Ibon of PAMAF via TKO. Jet Lumawag of BFMAA-Main and Lusvin Fajardo of PAMAF draw.
