The Conceptual Martial Arts Society-USLS and Main in cooperation with 5 sanctioning bodies successfully held the 5th USLS Martial Arts Expo “The Rise of the Renaissance Warriors” (a.k.a. 1st USLS Martial Arts Tournament: Martial Arts Redefined) last September 8, 2005 at the USLS College Covered Court, University of St. La Salle, La Salle Avenue, Bacolod City. Not less than 88 martial artists representing 10 organizations from Bacolod and Bago Cities fought for titles in 5 bouts each for taekwondo and kickboxing, 3 karate-do matches, 1 showdown each for arnis, sable, and self defense, as well as demonstrations of 6 martial arts.

The event, the longest running annual university-based multi-style martial arts extravaganza in Bacolod City, Negros Islands, and perhaps, Western Visayas, has earned the distinction as the first ever tournament in the Philippines to feature 5 different martial arts tournament formats in just one setting.
