3RD MANAPLA INVITATIONAL TKD HELD

The Manapla Taekwondo Association held the 3rd Manapla Invitational Taekwondo Championships were held by on August 8, 2004 at the Don Edilberto Vocal Memorial Gymnasium, Manapla, Negros Occidental as part of the 134th annual fiesta celebration of the municipality.

The event served as a tune up for the NOPSSCEA, Area 2 and 9, and District 6 taekwondo competitions.

The Manapla Taekwondo Association of event organizer and project director Benjamin “Ben” D. Jance III was overall team champion with a 10-6-9 medal haul. Bacolod Consolidated Sports Management Association (BACSMA) of Joel R. Casiple (10-6-4), Cadiz Killer Whales of Emilio Barbas (10-4-2), Sagay Taekwondo Association of Bong Rios (7-8-1), and Cadiz Universal Taekwondo (1-2-7) were 2nd to 5th places respectively.

Tolens Cansica was the head of the technical officials.
