FMA is for Filipino Martial Arts. FMA Circle is a group of persons and organizations sharing a common interest or revolving about a common center. That common center is the Art and Craft of Martial Arts as practiced, and developed by Filipino Warriors and Scholars of the Warrior Ways. The Conceptual Martial Arts Society (CMAS) opened its first commercial location on July 27, 2004 at Sam’s Slim Gym, 3F JTL Bldg., North Drive (in front of the Redemptorist Church), Bacolod City. Classes were taught by Founder James U. Sy Jr. Martial art offered was Lapu-Lapu Viñas arnis.
