Wazz Up Wazz Up featured a segment on Negrense arnis during their October 21, 2004 telecast at Studio 23. They used footages shoot during the National Arnis Invitational Competition held by the Bacolod Negros Arnis Federation International Inc. (BNAFII) of Grandmaster Hortencio M. Navales on October 17, 2004 at the Paglaum Sports Complex, Hernaez St., Bacolod City.
The segment featured several of the participants of the demonstrations and the tournament as well as Conceptual Martial Arts Society Founder James U. Sy Jr., Negros’ premier martial arts writer and historian.
